Great SBTB reference. Hopefully in one episode they will find a roach in the bathroom and then Jessie Spano will OD on caffeine pills while practicing for the talent show. That was real drama back then.

I liked the show. I really would love to see women given a chance if they are talented enough to play. The only real issue I had with the episode is that it was the Padres and they never once covered her ability to hit a ball. Sure pitchers are allowed to not be great hitters even in the NL, but they typically should at least be able to bunt and have the possibility to provide a chance of helping offensively.

MLB, I am sure, know that a female is going to play at their ranks eventually and that is why they are in for this show.
