Default Legendary Pick-ups

Anyone score anything nice tonight or last night? I really wanted the 1924 Washington cabinet with the Conlon pics, but finally gave up

3 pick-ups:
  • pic of Walter Johnson prior to game 1 of the 1925 World Series and a telegram congratulating him on the victory
  • 1922 calendar with real photo of Babe Ruth and his wife before the World Series
  • 30-page booklet about the 1908 Johnson-Burns fight. Picked this up to eventually frame with Burns and Johnson hand-written letters

Probably Lee Meadows, only player I know of who wore glasses on the 1925 Pirates, probably an opposing pitcher for one of the games.

Leon,
Keep repeating that to yourself over and over.
Unfortunately that logic doesn't work with my wife.
BTW: Nice pillow. Where's the quarter?

Rhys,
Thanks.
Gotta love those sweaters.

Won only one item but pleased with the pick-up - a George Burke negative of Earle Combs:
