although Benny is very, very funny--but I think he's pretending to ride a motorcycle...not boxing.

I guess someone is stuffing the ballot box for Radbourn. He has been pretty much neck and neck with Hengle from the start. I haven't looked at the poll in about a week and now Radbourn has basically doubled his total almost caught Benny? Sorry, but something isn't kosher.

Personally, I find the Radbourn card one of the least interesting poses offered in the poll. If I remember my history correctly, I don't think "flipping the bird" was all that common in the 1880s and Radbourn's pose may be nothing more than an unintentional gesture that meant nothing back then, but means something today.

but I don't understand why the T206 makers chose that shot of Chance ... Obviously the Arbuckle and Benny were intentional ha ha's.

Just try it...when the contests started, I asked Brian or Leon if they were SURE it was "one man (person), one vote,"
You can look as long as you like (I looked for about a week), but once you've voted, the voting mechanism is no longer available to you...

Nice to have my "candidate" in the running..in fact, I think it's my card (though someone--I think it's Hal--has a much nicer one). For "most underappreciated," I voted for Fan Craze, which wound up next-to-last...sniff.

It would be nice to keep a permanent record of the contests' results, or at least the winners, available to us--if there's any more room at the top of the page!

Julie, there is a way to stuff the ballot box. I'm not going to disclose it here, but if someone really wanted to do it, they could. It's not really hard to do. Fortunately, I'm to lazy to make the effort to do this.

I think I get it. You pretend to be a new person, and invent a whole new password and sign-in, and then vote and disappear. Can you control your--you know, number thing that each person on the internet has? I see they no longer accompany our posts...

The number thing is an IP (Internet Protocol) address and they are unique to each web session. Some are constant and some aren't. For our little contest at the top it would be really sad for someone to try to get over on it. It's just a fun side line to the board. Also, board members can not see the IP addresses but board moderators can. regards

it's an old Chicago expression...

Seriously, sort of, it would be a shame. Thought everyone knew it was just for fun, and who's to profit by the winner getting extra exposure?

Since i started this thread, a couple of hours ago, Benny has 3 more votes...interesting...
