Default Help identifying players

I have a collection of Japanese baseball magazines from 1931. I need help identifying these players who all appear to be Major Leaguers. Thanks in advance.

#6 looks like Mel Harder.

The illustrations look to us less like accurate portraits and more like vague approximations
by an artist a bit uncomfortable and unfamiliar with Caucasian features...
but assuming you have the 1931 date correct and that the illustrations are meant to suggest
major league stars of the day, we'd guess (based only on the year, the team depicted, and
the very slightest resemblance) that 3 is supposed to represent Hack Wilson, 4 perhaps Tom Oliver,
5 maybe Jimmy Dykes, and 7 either Carl Hubbell or Herb Pennock.

Default Wes Ferrell?

I think #6 looks a bit more like Wes Ferrell than Mel Harder. Could still be either or neither, though.
