A part of the right side of the S should be on all original copies. Dan

The area where the "S" is missing appears to be lighter. Erased? What grading company is that? Never heard of it.

the pic is not loading for me...but i can tell you that the REAL nodgrass variation has a hint of a partial "s". i owned one many years ago, mine was the first one submitted to PSA, they had never graded one (this was 8 years ago), i spoke to mike baker at the time and sent them the card and a letter, and they slabbed it a "3"...sold it in leland's (only card i ever sold prior to unloading my low grade stuff this spring).

I think this is the same outfit that was selling that modern Ruth for $100K or something.

Easy guys, PSA has graded a few of these no goods as well. And to no fault of PSA or FGS on these. Unless you have owned any or overly educated yourself on that error, you wouldn't know. YES a part of the right side of the S must be presented and when the slime ball in PA had these lasered off, he was too stupid to know. Please reference very old NET54 posts. I had a catching pose Nodgrass in my hand from this person who was having them doctored. I put a 10X on it and it looked great! So no fault to the grading companies here in my book. You can tell by holding it about a foot away from your face and tilt it under a light bulb. You will see the small round "cleaned off" spot where the S was removed. It is VERY GOOD work. Dan.
