Default Wouldn't ebay be better if....

...you could somehow contact other bidders?

Saw two 1934 Goudeys that were obvious fakes offered by a seller who didn't specialize in cards.
Sent note to seller; sent note to ebay. No response from either.

Auctions end. One sells for $26 and the other for $76. I kept the cards in my watch list just to see if the buyers would send feedback. Both did. And, in fact, they both sent positive feedback. They're clueless they've been swindled.

Seller made $100 on the two fake cards. I witnessed the crime, reported the crime, got the license plate number of the thief as he drove away, but I couldn't yell to the idiots being robbed to run!

I think it's time to cut up some Dover reprint books and go into business. It's just way too easy. Stupid ebay.
