1979 Fleer Football set of 69 cards minus 2***CLOSED***
Up for auction is a 1979 Fleer Football in Action set of 69 cards, missing only card #10 (Cincinnati Bengals Defense) and #18 (Detroit Lions Defense).
Cards are in excellent condition with some slight edge and corner wear. Not too sure about the distribution of the set. I remember buying packs in the late 1970's and putting this set together (minus the two cards). I believe that Fleer had the license to use the NFL logos, but not the players, hence the format of the set and the fact that the Topps sets of the time could not use the team logos. I've scanned a sample of 9 cards, but can supply scans for any/all of the cards in the set if interested. Just let me know. Minimum bid is $1.00 w/ $1.00 increments. Shipping is on me. Bidding ends at 10:00 PM EST on Wednesday, April 2. Bids at 9:59 PM EST are good, bids at 10:00 PM EST are not. Thanks for looking, Steve
