Default M101's Herpolsheimers back

Had a customer walk in with these. Compared to one I have that I know is good, it looks right. Is there anything that looks wrong with these that would
lead anyone to believe that they are not real? I am in Grand Rapids, which was where Herpolsheimers was located. I've read some posts about matching (toned/white) fronts and backs. Anything else to look for? Any help is appreciated!

Lou,

Just my opinion, but the cards look good to me.

They look real from the scans. Fakes have become much more difficult to spot, but I have not seen any faux Herpolsheimer commons circulating.

You've got your scans lined up wrong though. The one with the top to bottom reverse belongs to Austin, not Doolan. Nice cards.

They look OK relative to my one example, which I've had for about 20 years. The fact that you're in Grand Rapids makes it plausible that these would be found there.

Too clarify, these are four of a much larger group (50+) that include a number of Hall of Famers including Cobb.

I'm curious - If you don't mind my asking, which other HOFers are in this lot?

Still working on this. They are not mine at this point and not sure how motivated the seller is. I will advise should they become available. Thanks for the feedback.

Great group!

That could be one hell of an auction to surface 50 Herpolsheimer backs.

As someone who has great memories of riding the Santa Express monorail overhead as my mom shopped at the downtown store, I have always loved these cards.
