She looks very pleased to have received the Ruth Bat. However, the sad young man to the right seems disappointed to have only gotten a pair of Von Hayes game worn socks. Guess we know who is daddy's favorite. JK great picture.

Hey Von Hayes was traded for 5 players, one of which was Julio Franco.

And Julio Franco was traded for my favorite player Pete O'Brien in 1988.

My son with Tim Johnson (former Blue Jays and Saltdogs manager) after exchanging lineup cards.

Wasn't that the Seadogs? Portland Maine?

I let my son use a W.E. Mains bat in a little league game this year. Thank goodness he got plunked on the first pitch.

I coached my son's T-ball team this past spring. I signed the team up to run onto the field with the Potomac Nationals (Washington Nationals single-A team in Northern Virginia) for the singing of the National Anthem. My son Wesley ran out with the first baseman and stood next to first base. I wish I was given that opportunity as a kid.
