Default Rose Co. Postcards

Posted By: Nick Edson

Back in 1978, I bought a huge lot of vintage baseball pins and postcards. In that group were 51 Rose Co. postcards, including 50 different. The Rose Co. postcards are beautiful. Even though I've purchased some nice items over the years and kept them in my collection, I wish I had the Rose Co. postcards back. Any other posters out there with some Rose Co. postcards?

Yes Nick there are a number of Rose PC collectors. I too over the years have divested myself of many including the Mathewson.

Here are a couple from my collection.

Nick; for those of you who have not heard of him, was one of the fine stable of Baseball Hobby News columnists in the 1980's

Rich

Every time I see those Springfield postcards I think there's hope that the Lincoln club did something similar, and someday I will find that stash in someone's grandpa's attic.

Thanks, Rich. I never left the hobby, having started with the old Troy (MI) show in 1972. But after watching the give and take on Net54, figured I'd chime in. Lots of familiar names posting here - I appreciated seeing the Rose Co. postcards that were posted here.

Nick, nice to hear you are still collecting. Have not heard your name in a a long time. We had some good times at those shows.
