Default FT: 1977 Topps Burger King Lou Piniella SP

I have these three two very cool #23 1977 Burger King Lou Piniella SP's for trade...

They are probably in the ex+ shape range with bumped corners, as you can see in the scans. No creases or anything like that.

These SP's were incredibly tough to come by back in the day, and for us Whopper-eating New Yorkers, there were many, many rumors swirling about as to why 'Sweet Lou' was seemingly omitted from the set. We found out after the season was over that he was apparently added only at the very end of the run, but none of my friends or I ever got one at BK. These cards have always been and are still absolutely impossible to find!!

The only difference between a regular Topps card and its BK counterpart is the number on back: #96 for his Topps card and #23 for this set. If you're unfamiliar with the Burger King cards or want to read a short, interesting piece on them, check out this article I ran across:
http://www.super70s.com/Super70s/Spo...urger_King.asp

If you're interested in trading for any of these guys or have any questions, LMK. I have a 1957 - 1971 need list I can PM to you, or...

I am always interested in these:
• HOF'ers in nice shape from the 50's and 60's, ungraded
• Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Roberto Clemente & Mickey Mantle cards
• 1958 Topps HOF'ers
• Tough to find errors and variations from the 50's through the early 70's
• 1964 Topps Stand-Ups (need virtually any in nice shape)
• 1961-67 Topps high numbers and SP's
• 1963 Fleer BB stars and HOF'ers in exmt or better shape
• 1954 Bowman
• 1954 Red Heart BB (need virtually any in nice shape)
• T-206's
• 1972 Topps HOF'ers in great shape and centered to upgrade my sets
• 1962 Topps 'green tints' graded 7, 8 and higher
• 1972 Topps FB high numbers (need these in exmt+ shape: 271 Warfield AP, 277 Eller AP, 304 Dale, 308 Morrall, 312 Marsalis, 336 Marshall, 341 Butkus)
• 1972-73 OPC Hockey starter set with stars and/or high numbers

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.

Overpaying yesterday is simply underpaying tomorrow.

I honestly don't know what the book value is on Lou. Maybe someone else could chime in. On ebay, I can only find one listing and that's a PSA 9 for $395. Another seller who has complete 1977 Burger King sets listed there mentions in the fine print that #23 Lou Piniella is not included. On COMC there are none listed.

I would want something pretty decent in return for one of these guys.
