I think we should write SGC (my grader of choice usually) and ask them to start identifying these W501 series cards such as in the ebay link below correctly instead of as W575s.

Leon, if I understand you correctly, you are saying that the 4 cards you show are W501-2s that have been incorrectly identified as W575-1s - right? If so, I don't think your 4 cards are W501-2s because the images are too clear/sharp. I'm no expert, but I understand that W501-2s have grainy images, just like the W501-1 cards. Here are my W501-1 and W501-2 cards of WaJo and Sam Rice to give you comparisons:

Hi Val
No, SGC labeled mine correctly as W575-1 except they said they are handcut and they aren't. They have said they will take another look at them and I will probably let them at the National, in order to get rid of the "handcut" caveat on the flip. It's the W501s that I continually see listed as W575s that make me raise an eyebrow. Here are a few other W575-1s ...at least that is how I categorize them ![]() ![]()

Leon, I misinterpreted the point you were making - sorry about that. BTW, nice cards - are you getting back into collecting scarce/rare type cards?
