Default Roger Maris 61HR stub question.

I can get two nice Roger Maris 61HR ticket stubs.
The price that they are being offered to me seems high for resale purposes.
Any info on what these have been going for lately?
I have gotten some info from Google but want to hear any info from here.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi Richard,
The short answer is it depends...
Condition is key.
Are the stubs free of creases, is there writing or other things that detract, are they printed date vs. stamped dated tickets?

If you could post pictures or scans of the tickets front and back, that would be helpful in assessing value.
Thanks!

Scott- the stubs are clean and not creased.

Hi Richard,
Actually, in looking at the photo that you posted, there appears to be creasing in the upper 1/4 of each of the three Maris 61st HR tickets. In the condition that I see (not considering any issues with the back), I would guesstimate that the retail value of these tickets would be around $700- $800. On their best day I don't believe they would sell for more than $1000.

I hope this helps.

Helps a lot, yes. The seller is actually asking for more than retail, as I thought.
Thanks very, very much.

Richard I had four of them about 8 years ago. I bought them on Ebay from someone who didn't know what they were worth. Bought all four for $350. They each were nice but had a dark tape stain across them. I got $800- $1200 for each.
