Default Show your 19th century Pinbacks

I just picked up this and it is definetly my oldest football pin. It is from the 1891 football season and is for a game between Harvard and Springfield. It is a cloth covered pin.

Wow! I guess I didn't know that pinbacks existed before W&H patented the celluloid pinback in 1896.

Well I guess maybe this isn't a classic pinback. I'll show a photo below of the back. Maybe more of a button. It is missing its back piece, so I'm not sure how it would be worn.
