Default What's The Worst Looking Card Ever?

I'm bored. Let's start a fun thread. What is the WORST looking card ever produced? How about pre-war, baseball and NOT having to do with condition, just photo or design related. Post your scans of the dumbest looking, goofiest or just plain dopey looking player card. This one is sure to start some feuds!

I nominate the W515 Cobb (and strip cards in general, but that one stands out). If the registration is poor he looks evil instead of smiling. Not my scan, but here's a pretty bad example:

Default What's The Worst Looking Card Ever

The above is a great example, some of the strip card examples from the 1920s are just terrible.

While a hemorrhoid may be purple...purple is also the color of dentistry...if I remember my history of dentistry class...something to do with saint applonia...the patron saint of dentistry...so, Barry, I like purple too!

I 2nd the e90-1 jackson...i hate it...and if i owned one...i'd throw darts at it!

No doubt this Cobb Strip is one of the most ridiculously ugly cards I have ever seen....

What is up with the Alien Skull ? Could the artist have been sending a message ? His cranium is about to hatch a Lil Tyrus.

I'd pretty much nominate almost any of the w515's. That Cobb is pretty bad, but I've always thought that the Grover was absolutely the most hideous card ever.

That Reese greatly resembles the 1907 Red Belt pc... Another terrific card.

The pic of Grover is artist rendering Steroid Era version. If Grover would have been hitting the horse hormones, his head would have certainly looked like that... The Grover and Ty are absurd. Had to be a Wacky Pack for kids back in the day... Those suck.

Default W 516 2-2 Cobb

I've shown this card several times in other posts. It was printed as a mirror image of the same W 515 2-2 card Adam posted in the 1920's card thread, Post #12:

http://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=136058

The picture is messy and it doesn't even look like Cobb. Did Cobb REALLY throw lefthanded (No he batted left & threw right handed)?!? I am not sure whether they meant to print this as a mirror image, but my thoughts are they sure messed up this card.

There's always the most generic set ever made...The 1949 MP&Co. set that borrowed all the images from it's '43 set....Gotta love the white Larry Doby, and as added bonus we get to see what Bob Lemon would've looked like playing for Chicago...Oh yeah, and the corrected version with a giant blank spot across his jersey. It's not obvious or anything. Oddly enough, I love this set..

For a card with a lot of potential, the T207 Walter Johnson is hideous IMO.

Default Bowman

There's a bowman '54 common where a transplanted tiny head is plopped onto of the pitchers body from another shot, looks wierd/ugly.

Hey if we are talking transplanted heads it doesn't get much worse than the 1971-72 O-Pee-Chee hockey cards of Rogie Vachon and Mike Corrigan...

Vachon's head slapped on Ross Lonsberry's body...

Probably the ugliest card ever was the result when they placed Mike Corrigan's head on poor Mike Byers' body...

Also, any Don Mossi card.
