Default Pre 1920 Bat Question.... Inch Marks

Posted By: Matt Hart

Does anybody have (or have ever seen) a pre 1920 bat, from any maker, with inch marks?
I personally have not. Would love to see some if they are out there.
Thanks
Matt

Default Pre 1920 Bat Question.... Inch Marks

Posted By: John Harrell

As a collector of pre-1930, mainly 19th century bats, I've never seen a bat from a labeled manufacturer with inch marks anywhere on the bat. I do have a home made bat from 1898 with the number 40 on the knob. It is a 40 inch bat.
