As with my suggestion on the other thread, I'm going to suggest interesting but not necessarily great players. Of course Mickey Mantle was awesome, he doesn't need to be celebrated in another card set for anyone to get that. But we can highlight interesting and/or underappreciated players.
How about: Isao Harimoto - Japan's all-time hits leaders (and atom bomb survivor) The Alou Brothers (they can share a card) A card about players who actually saw combat in WWII (Spahn, etc.) Mark Fidrych (he can be pictured talking to a baseball) Last edited by nat; 01-08-2019 at 07:32 PM.
