Default Missing 80s Future Stars cards

Topps stopped making multiple player rookie cards after 1982, so I took a stab at what they might have looked like from 83-86. Yay or nay?

Thumbs up Rookies

Yay on those . You should have done the updates sets for them back in the 80's. Much better than the company put out.

Neat! The 1983 and 1986 ones are really cool. The 1984 ones seem like dead ringers for what Topps would have done had they created them (following a league leaders format from that year.) I have always wondered what a 1986 version would have looked like. Thanks for sharing!

Love these. Especially that you took the time to do the backs.

I like then except 84, as they look too similar to the team leader cards that were actually issued. The 83s are my favorite, but I would prefer a smaller logo or maybe a 3rd player included? Cool cards though, all around.

Thanks for all the kind words! Here's a couple more I did, still kind of in the Future Stars vein...

Makes you wonder. If Topps had lucked out and got Griffey in the 88 set (highly unlikely as it may have been) what would have happened to Upper Deck? Would they have been anywhere near as successful as they were?
