The "Genuine Oil Painting Reproductions" are each in a small plastic frame measuring approximately 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" and the group is unopened in original packaging.

I lost out on a 7th piece which was Woodie Held (congratulations on a great pickup!). I've wondered for some time what the complete checklist looks like, but so far these are the only players I have seen. Until this auction I had not even seen the Held, Perry, and Score before! Hoping this will spark some interest and result in more of these coming up for sale.
That is exactly the kind of stuff I love! The Giants have a similar, super rare set but they are photographs and bigger. The 3D frames have to be “assembled” by tab and slot.

I noticed two things about yours: Terry Francona bears a strong resemblance to his dad and Jim Perry’s autograph of his surname is similar to Gaylord’s. Great pick up!

I bet yours is the most complete collection of them to exist. My computer screen is crappy and my eyes are getting old and tired. So I can only make out the Tigers and Cubs. Can you post a more close-up photo that clearly shows them all? That's fantastic that you have so many displayed together.

Hank:
I still recall a Mastro Auction in which they had 3 of these (listed as individual lots), and all three sold in excess of $2K. In retrospect, maybe they were shilled up to that level, but who knows? Regardless they are very seldom-seen. I only have the Athletics, and it's actually still attached to a vintage Straw Hat (Connie Mack style...)
Beautiful straw hat. Wish I had one. Might even wear it.

Thanks for the better close-ups Brock! Those are just gorgeous... I especially love the early logos of the Tigers, Pirates and Cubs (all of which I'd never seen before).

Ironically, the two you're still seeking were included in the Mastro Auction of many years back. The 3 that they offered at the time were Red Sox, Giants, and Athletics (which you already have).

Also... beautiful Uniform Chris! So rare to find that color and style in vintage Unis. And that Bear Patch is "off the charts" cool.

Default Al Simmons paper and solid gold lifetime passes.

I've always been drawn to the MLB lifetime passes. Just picked up these two issued to Al Simmons.

The paper passes didn't survive in as many numbers as the metal passes. The gold pass for Simmons is actually made of 10 karat gold.

If you like these kind of passes, there are many more on the CooperstownExpert.com site on this page.

Players' passes there include Simmons, Sliding Billy Hamilton, Bobby Wallace, Stan Coveleski, Joe Sewell, Ned Garver,Harvey Haddix, Dick Williams, Dave Parker, Minnie Minoso, Joe Cronin, and George Boomer Scott.

Also there are letters from Honus Wagner, Walter Johnson, and Fred Clarke thanking Ford Frick for their passes.

Lifetime passes to the Hall of Fame issued to Early Wynn and Joe McCarthy are also on the page.

If you go to the site, search for your favorite player and check it out. Thanks for looking.

Default Cleveland Indians Magazine Collection additions

Was able to add two seldom seen items to my Cleveland Baseball Magazines Collection this month. A Jul 1948 Swift News Magazine with Bob Feller on the cover, and a Nov 3 1955 Beisbol Magazine from Mexico with Ralph Kiner on the cover.

The Ralph Kiner cover put me over 100 different Cleveland Baseball magazine subjects in my collection. Always looking for more!

Default Rex Barney signed 1948 no-hitter ticket stub

I'm happy to have just added this Rex Barney 1948 signed no-hitter ticket stub to my collection.
I now have tickets to 222 different no-hitter games dating back to 1901.
Of the 222 different no-hitter game tickets, 163 are signed by 169 different no-hit pitchers.

Although I already had a couple of tickets to Barney's no-hitter, I never have seen owned one that was signed, much less owned one.
To be honest, I never thought that I would ever find one. I wouldn't be surprised if this is a 1/1, but you never know...

This ticket is the 4th oldest signed no-hitter ticket that I have in my collection. Bob Feller's Opening Day no-hitter in 1940 is my oldest
26 of these no-hit pitchers are now sadly deceased.

I'm always looking to add earlier vintage no-hitter tickets to my collection. Please reach out to me if you think you can help.
Stay safe out there, everyone!

Great stuff, guys.

Not sure if I posted this here or not...recently acquired, first year NY Highlanders, first year World Series. I plan to eventually have PSA relabel accordingly.

Picked up this 1910-15 JF Hillerich & Son bat. Looks like there's part of the decal still on the barrel. Nice burnt finish with tape on the handle.

Picked up this cool LA train ticket with an advertisement for the PCL's Opening Day in 1940; Chuck Eisenmann pitching. I've seen a few of these before and have been on the lookout for a while:
