Default Vintage Memorabilia at Dugout Treasures

I'm pretty new to this forum, although I have been checking in on the dialogue for months, and think it a great resource to vintage memorabilia collectors.

The entirety of our family collection which includes gloves, bats, multicolor stitch balls, catchers equip., flannels, etc. etc. can be seen on our website...

www.dugouttreasures.com

We hope you find some time to check it out some time, and look forward to hearing from all of you out there in the near future.

Good Hunting,
Jonathan

Clint...

That LaJoie Double Knob is sweeeet! I've never seen one in person... is there really room for an adult hand to fit between the two knobs? For some reason, it looks like another inch or so is needed.

The Bat at the very bottom looks incredible as well. Any chance of seeing a close-up shot of that one? Thanks!

Thanks Perezfan. There's barely enough room for my hand between the knobs but they were made in different configurations. There's one bat that has a bigger gap than this one and one that's even closer.

If you go to this link and click on the pictures once and then again they will enlarge big enough for you to see a close up of all the bats.

Clint - I like the bat display. Can I ask if you made that yourself? or where you purchased it?

rmann, my father and I made the bat rack. I guessed the dimensions based off of what I had seen in past auctions of Spalding racks. We got lucky and it came out perfect. I think I spent around $60-70 bucks to make it. If I can find my specs I'll post them. The picture only shows half of the rack. It holds 36 bats and stands around 6' high.

Default c. 1940 Joe DiMaggio Model Bat...

in NM/MT condition.

These scans come from the seller when I bought this bat a couple of years ago.

Now... what kind of Mashugana sets a beautiful fragile 70 year old bat on a pile of ROCKS in order to snap some photos?!

Even worse, what kind of Mashugana pays several hundred dollars for said bat?!

Joe D. must have been looking over me as the bat arrived in pristine condition
