Neal- Thanks for posting this!!! We have had great fun working on this project over the last year.

The Hot Springs Baseball Trail opened last week to great reviews. We have 26 monuments that are tributes to the birth of Spring Training here in 1886 on through the 1940s.

Your friend Tim Reid was fantastic, last saw Tim on Friday where we shared lunch at the Clinton Presidential Library after receiving a private tour of the new St. Louis Cardinals exhibit. The library has the material from the Cardinals Museum which is sadly still closed.

Two neat tidbits that came from the research was that Josh Gibson was signed here after a tryout. On February 24th, 1938 Hot Springs celebrated Cy Young Day. When the Young family arrived by train a parade began led by bands and Bill "Mr. Bojangles" Robinson who tap danced one half mile to the Arlinton Hotel.

Fun stuff!
