Thanks Steven. It's the '27, not the '25.. Not quite like the opening card in the thread but I'm happy!

Pretty stoked about this one. I think it’s a full grade higher than anything on the pop report.

DJ, Really glad you snagged the E92 Davis lot. You appreciate these cards for what they are, especially the red Crofts, certainly one of a kind and tougher than the Ty Cobb back or a Drum. Now all you need is the Cocoa, Black Candy and a Blank Back, if they exist, to win the lottery.
My only regret is that you didn't pay enough.
John

Thanks, Bryan & Ryan.

I think it went low, due to 4 auctions closing that night...or maybe a few of my friends laid-off, who knew I was chasing it(?)...

Supposed to be 50 in the set but think only thirty something are known. Produced by the JKA photo studio of New York. Not sure why so many Cubs in this grouping or why they are all unmounted, perhaps an old Chicago area collector?

Thanks guys,

John, I'm glad that is all I had to pay! At this time, I'm pretty confident there are 3 red croft Davis graded by SGC. I also already own a blank back. So a back run isn't out of the thinking, although the VE and E105 I think would be quite tough.

Jerry, as nice as the nadja is, I really can't justify keeping it. I already have a nice one for my set, so would much rather recoup some of the costs for this lot.

DJ

Thanks, I looked through all the threads here and saw no one going by Cap. And that is a cool Weaver. Buck is one of my favorite subjects.

Default Last T205 catcher needed I needed

I believe I just picked up the last T205 catcher I needed, Ed Sweeney.

Had a tough time finding one at a decent price.

Picked up T205 #67...almost 1/3 of the way there!!! This one looks pretty good with amazing registration...and a price I could stomach considering these seem to always be listed at premium prices in my experience.
