Default Red Hindu vs. Black Lenox who got the better deal?

These two cards sold in the last couple days (I missed both) but I’m curious if any T206 vets can weigh in. Who got the better deal for low entries into rare backs?
The Red Hindu sold for $250 but was completely laminated in plastic.
The black Lenox has a few ink stains and sold for $99

Thanks for any input,
Jason

I'm no heavy, but if the Lenox is an original, it's no contest - the Lenox buyer wins hands-down in my humble opinion. I wish it was me!

Let me tell you about the laminated Red Hindu. There was a guy named Daniel Desmond who would sand down the backs of common cards, he would then print on rare backs like Red Hindu and Black Lenox and than laminated over back. I’m not saying that Red Hindu is one of them, but at a ridiculous price of $250 while these cards are hot as hell, I would stay away. That particular card has been bouncing around for a few years now.

Rob, the Lenox is real. The seller had two of them, I bought the other.
