I can finally post scans!

Here's the one I've been trying to post for quite awhile. I just thought it was interesting to see Wynn as a Twin.

I'm so excited that I can post images again, that I thought I'd post a second recent pick up. It just arrived today.

I have an uncut sheet of 1949 Bowman that includes that card. I got it in 1980 and it led to my meeting Ted Z the following year.

I paid about the same. A local card dealer also was a coin dealer. I had some Buffalo nickles and other coins stashed away because the coins were no longer made in that design. I took about $9 face value of coins to the shop and got an apprased value of $186. He wanted $200, so I kicked in $14 and took the sheet home with me.

I paid $10 for a double printed '49 sheet in '74, $440 when I picked one up in '06.

if you can only have one, that'd be it. Great card. Having one makes the Skyline go down easier! Congrats.

"Having one makes the Skyline go down easier!"

That's for sure, good thing the Beckett slabs are Skyline chili proof! I'll try to keep the Greater's Ice Cream and Larosa's Pizza away from it though. happy.gif

Hey, Paul:

It's a 1967 Cincinnati Reds Team Issue Press Photo of Johnny Bench.

Very cool. Do you know if the 1967 team issue postcard of Bench actually exists?

Paul:

I have seen the 1968 Bench postcard recently but have never seen the 1967 version. I have only been looking for the past 6-8 months though.
