Is it just me, or is 6k an insane price for a psa 3 e121 ruth throwing? A psa 3 e122 ruth with the same pose recently sold in a clean sweep auction for only 2600. Here's the auction link.

This is a "George Ruth, L.F." variation. It is tougher to find I think. In the past year, I've seen 5 R.F. versions, but this is the first L.F. version I've seen. The pop reports will also reflect this I think, although this feels like it's an issue where the grading numbers could have a difficulty with labeling problems. I think I had a $5K snipe and it didn't even register.

Wow, and I thought 3k would be more than enough to win it.

When did PSA 5 Cracker Jack commons start going for $500 each? Wow. There were a ton on ebay tonight, nothing special and they were going for half a grand each.

is it a lf/rf thing or just that is says george ruth and not babe or "babe" ruth...which creates the variation.

any ruths depicting him in a pitching pose/red sox uni seem to defy all values...i like em!

I'm not 100% sure, but I always thought the George Ruth was the only one labeled L.F. I don't think there is a Babe Ruth in LF or a George Ruth in RF...I could be wrong though.
