I understand your perspective - I think the seller is trying to do/offer what he thinks is right/reasonable. If that doesn't work for you, I think the option more fair to you both is to just cancel both transactions.
I agree, either you want the 1 jersey at the price you won it for with the shipping charge, or you don't. Either way, tell the seller what you want. Since it was his mistake he should accommodate you in some way. If he refuses, that is when negative feedback would be appropriate.

I did tell him what I wanted....see the actual correspondence. I wanted a refund on the shipping and he ignored me. I already paid for the jersey and it has been shipped.

I was hoping to be treated the way I would have treated my customers under the same scenario. Wishful thinking.

Jeff

The time to negotiate something better on the shipping because of the inconvenience of his mistake has passed. If it was that big of a deal I suspect you would have mentioned your issue again before paying. It's an unfortunate situation, but a pretty minor inconvenience in my opinion. I would just enjoy the one Jersey you're getting and not leave feadback for this transaction.

I've only ever left negative feedback once when a seller actually bent a collectible I won to fit it in the box they shipped it in. I was a bit shocked and pissed so I left negative. Haven't done it again since.

I don't think this is a negative type situation since the seller did try to make it right by refunding you and apologizing for the mistake.
