Default Goodwin Auction - E90-1 McLean

Posted By: Anson

I'm trying to figure out why this is already bid up to over $600? Is there something special about this card or is it just the product of someone's registry?

Default Goodwin Auction - E90-1 McLean

Neither of the top two registry owners on PSA in the set own that card. In the PSA population report, only one McLean card has been graded.

In the SGC registry, the top guy has a complete set, but has the McLean in a SGC 20. The second guy has a 98% complete set, only missing three cards - one of which is the McLean. The highest SGC graded Mclean is a SGC 40 - but there is a total of 5 graded (although it could be less if the same card was submitted more than once).

But it looks like there are possibly 3 or 4 different guys interested in this card...all of them serious about completing the set. Of course there could be others who are trying to complete the set that need this card...but aren't on the registries.
