Default Price Guide For CDs?

Does anyone know of a good price guide for CDs? If you collect records, the price guides and websites are numerous. I've been collecting CDs for awhile now, but I can only really guess at how valuable they may be based on ebay sales and looking at Discogs. I was hoping there might be a website that Google search hasn't turned up, or a price guide that would be recommended to find out more about collectable CDs. Anyone else on this site collect CDs?

Are CD's worth money? Is there a secondary market for them other than flea markets and used CD stores?

I have at least 1000 CDs. My understanding is there is essentially no real market for them at this point. At some point before we move I will give them to the Salvation Army and let them try to sell them for $1 each.

I think you're probably right for many of the CDs. Most are probably worth $1. But like card collecting, certain issues are rare and/or sought after by collectors. And just like records, some CD titles have been issued on different labels over the years and sometimes I have seen them sell for good money. But that's the problem, how do you know which ones? If the answer is, just keep looking at ebay, then I guess I can do that. Maybe there just aren't enough CDs that are valuable that it's worth putting out a guide.

Out of print CD's, especially 1980's Rap/Hip Hop can go for a few bucks. I've paid for and have seen some go for $30-50 or more.

My wife knits and crochets a bit. Such a cover on a CD makes a soft, yet sturdy coaster. You never know what you may learn on Net54.

Edited to add that we haven't tried to sell any of coasters, but we just protect the furniture as we tend to drink more.

Note as well that this is not a paid advertisement, but inquiries will not be ignored.

I actually used CD's covers on my fire/ice tailgate bar. Works perfect.
Place the 2 Cd's, one on each end (on the bumper) and place the bar on top of the Cd's.
Gently press the (adhesion stickers) to the spot under the tailgate. Done.
Then wire it up/plug it in the harness.

I heard vinyl is coming back!!!!
