Default 19th century piece, opinions please

My picker buddy brought me this today. Its not a Harper's..is it a newspaper premium? Drawn by Thulstrup, game at Polo Grounds, Aug 6 1885. Any opinions?

August 22nd 1885 Harper's.. If you take it out of the mat, the issue and page information should be to the left. Beautiful Piece.

Default Harpers Woodcut

Yes, that is a Harpers woodcut that has been hand colored. Beautuiful piece. Do you know what he had to give for it, or what he is asking?

Default Harpers Woodcut

With the frame and matting, I think that is a great buy.

Agreed. With the frame and matting, that's probably a steal. I've seen that one a few times at $150 or more. Unframed.

Agree on that being a great buy. Here are a couple of shots of mine -- it has the same hand coloring.

These are great pieces...thanks for sharing! These woodcuts are very underrated imo and as a result can be purchased at very reasonable prices. I have a majority of the Harper's weekly but very limited ones that are colored. Here's my favorite.

Great piece Keith...you don't see the colored woodcuts too often...at $50, I'd think he did well.
