Default Trade night at the National

I hear a lot about trade night at the National. Are these only for shiny modern cards or will I be able to trade post war vintage?

I like the idea of bringing my dupes to trade but I don't want to waste time taking them if there's no point.

Please let me know what to expect at a trade night. Thanks.

Trade night last year in Atlantic City was a frenzy. The youth dominate the space and there is a lot of modern football, basketball, and baseball.

You may see some post-war vintage but expect it to be the big names: Mantle, Mays, Aaron, Clemente, etc.

It sounds like we need a Net54 trade area at one of the hotels

We'll have the ballroom at the Embassy Suiites, across the street from the National, on Friday night. How late do these things stay open? Not sure about the room after midnight and not sure it would be the right venue either....or if there would even be much interest? Probably won't be dominated by youth .

If you're interested in vintage baseball cards, the trade night is NOT going to interest you to any stretch of the imagination.

Thanks guys. Sounds like I'll leave the likes of Bob Buhl, Billy Cox and Hal Rice at home.

I love the idea of a Net54 vintage trade night though.

Couldn’t this just be an impromptu trade night? People hanging out, bring a box of cards etc.

Not a crazy madhouse like the other trade nights always are

It can be anything or nothing. We make the rules, or no rules (the way I usually like things)
.

And a card because every thread needs one.....

Sounds good, I'll bring along some cards... I have a selection of 55 Bowman, 1961T, 1963 Fleer, 1970T plus others set aside.

Hopefully others will do the same.

This is a serious question - What age bracket is being considered "youth"?

My barometer for youth is if you can tell me where you were on 9/11

I can’t take you seriously if you do not remember
