Posted By: Richard

Greetings, any Z nut collectors out there? I was wondering which year is the toughest to find? Look forward to some replies.
Thanks

From my personal experience, 1918 is the toughest. Probably due to the War.

Yep it's 1918. I think it was Mark Macrae that told me that when I was looking for George Johnson's Zeenut cards.

as it has the Black Sox McMullin, Williams and Risberg as well as Coveleski and Heilmann, all of which are highly sought and command a high premium.

1918 cards are difficult to locate and acquire. Just not many around.

1915 is a difficult year to complete... some cards aren't that tough. But the ones above, especially the Fred McMullin (spelled McMullen on the card) are difficult and expensive.

Agree:
1st 1918
2nd 1915

Some experts have deemed 1937-38 as the third most difficult year.
