it is just a faulty scan but it sure looks wavy. Maybe the seller could send you a better scan. Maybe is was graded on Monday though!

Bob, that has got to be the scan. That card looks like it's melting.

if it is trimmed. I think there is an equal possibility that the card was soaked out of an album, and has ended up warped...one can only tell so much from a scan.

noting this, since many feel that soaking out of an album is not an egregious alteration, unlike trimming....especially considering how many high-grade 1915 CJ's have found their way into the hobby from albums, etc.

1st, the link isn't to the card, but to the tiny url site where the link is....

Now I think the card was soaked and bleached a bit. It didn't dry out pressed and flat, but has that wave effect going. It could be trimmed... And it is in a GAI holder, which is good for keeping messy fingers off of the card itself, but not much more.

Card could have a warp to it, which is not uncommon with such a thin issue. But that much must be a scan problem as well.

Actually I thought it was Mindy McCready naked and Hillary Clinton. My bad.

I do think the card appears to be hand cut the way the card swerves all over the place. It could be a soaking problem though, whatever, the card would be nice except for the obvious problems.

I have purchased from this seller before and after sending it in for crossover it came back as trimmed. It was a CSA slab however, not a GAI. He sells alot of CSA graded cards.

...it's pretty obvious the card is not trimmed, but is instead warped. Graders get it wrong on trimming to be sure, but not in this case -- they would not have missed this.

Looking at a warped card in two dimensions, i.e., on a computer screen, will give it a wavy-edged look. It may be that the card was not so warped until it ended up in the holder.
