Default 1955 Johnston Cookies Panel?

What is the best way to cut out the individual cards? I want to submit the individual cards for grading, but I am not sure how to cut the panels. Thanks for your advice.

....but then Id have to kill you.

seriously, It ain't that easy. but here's your best bet.
1. unfold the panel carefully
2. use a hobby paint brush and "paint the first fold with distilled water, let it soak a bit and repeat twice.
3.place a piece of mylar or a plastic card sleeve and place it over the fold.
4. use a spoon to slowly work the factory fold out of the cardboard, don't worry about making it perfectly flat, just get it close.
5. place matboard under the piece.
6. clamp a metal straight edge down over your assembly.
7. use a new exatco blade and slice the panel presicely down the blue dotted lines (leave the whole line on the star cards. press down on the straight edge with your free hand.
8. make sure to not bear down too hard or the cut will be uneven, making 2 passes is ok, but be gentle on the second pass so you folloe the original cut.
9. take a sip of beer.
10. repeat until your cards are all liberated.
11. rewet the edges/factory fold marks and gently work them smooth as per step 4.
12. send murcerfan $20 for the advice

if you are lucky, they will all look like this :

Very helpful; hope it turns out great for you.

If there is a problem, how many times should step 9 be repeated?
