I have a feeling it's Maqua instead of Magua. There are places in Michigan and Maine called Camp Maqua.

I think it's definately "Maqua" and probably older than the 50's.......maybe late 20's or 30's? I was trying to guess the age off of the equipment and uniforms.

There was once a Maqua Printing Co. in Schenectady, NY. It appears the Maqua were a Native American tribe. In several references, it appears they are Mohawks. In a Google search, I can find several references to "Maqua" in place names throughout the northeast and along the Great Lakes ...

Based on the amount of clothing they're wearing, it must definitely be up north. The picture was probably taken in early April at the beginning of the season. It is very possible that the printing company had a baseball team, and this was it. Very interesting picture...

I agree that it is probably an April photo due to the sweaters but not sure it's from the North because of the style of building and the type soil they're standing on. Get's cold out West too and based off of the shadow to the left, it could be early morning. I figure it's probably pre WWII because those guys would be slingin bayonets otherwise and the photo and attire doesn't quite look right to me for the 50's.

It's about to archive with my other unkowns. Thanks for everyones input.

The player standing to the left of the tallest player in the back row has a strong resemblance to Eddie Collins in my opinion, cool pic anyways.
