Thanks Matt and Jeff. And you were probably unaware (until now) that Earl (Earle) Coombs (Combs) actually started his career with the A's, eh?

No, I knew that, he broke into the bigs when he was 11.

Default Excellent pick ups everyone !!!

David- Very nice, Joss BL 460 !!! Wow !!!
Tony A.- Beautiful SC piece- I've never seen that before, thanks for posting that (will go good with your PB piece too )

From the B/S/T, I picked up this oversized Waddell and I love it. Thank you Ron for the card and a smooth transaction. My scanner doesn't do it justice- it's a beautiful card, and I'm thrilled to add it to the collection.

Default 1909 Obak

I picked up a nice looking 1909 Richard " Nick" Williams Obak from Joe's Vintage Sports Cards tonight. It's got a nice front but with back damage.

It will fit well with my other six 1909 Obak catchers.

Default Nice!!

Jerry: Those are two very nice T206 HOFer portraits!! They appear to be much better than the assigned grades. Are there creases or back damage that are not discernible in your scans? Great looking cards...............
