Default Couple questions from the new guy

Hi all. I just activated this and havent learned all the ins and outs so these questions may have been answered. But does anyone know the story with GAI? Are they even in business anymore? And also, do any of you remember the unopened pack book Mark Murphy put out years ago? Can you even get them anymore? Thank you.

GAI is now called Global Authority and sadly are still open. Please do not send anything to them to get graded. Do a google search with their new name and you will find many horror stories.

Can't help on the book.

Welcome to the forum.

ahhhh "the baseball card kid"
Is he still in the hobby? He was a fixture in the late 80's & 90's
I think he was based out of CT and lost a major chunk of his collection/inventory to a fire.
Haven't thought about Mark in awhile.

I have never really gotten into T206 cards. Still stuck collecting cards from the 50s and 60s. Maybe time to broaden my horizon.
