Default Are there ANY Fan Craze fans out there?

So here's a set that I generally never see get discussed but I have always dug it. The 1906 Wg 2/3 set of 105 players from both leagues. I love black and white cards and this set is full of great portraits. I know they are playing cards but I just do not care.

The prices on these seem like they have fallen quite a bit except the Wagner...how cool would it be if there was a Cobb in the set? I am just wondering how far it will fall? Has the hobby given up on these, I don't collect the 1913 National game cards so I cannot speak on those but I wonder how they compare. Theories on where this set goes? Any other set collectors out there, I have 23 commons and old Hans...

I only have the Wag. I also liked the B&W photo as well.

One of the coolest sets but doesn't get the love, probably due to usual grading of playing cards--a lot get high grades but hard to tell why in many cases.

I like the set and the player selection. I have 4-5 of the Kansas players. Sorry for the small photo.

I like the set. I remember when in the late 70s my dad ( after putting an BB cards wanted ad in the KC paper) came home with an unopened box/gameset someone had up in their attic

Wow Dave, that's pretty cool...what happened to it?

So not many folks into the set though, I am thinking that the prices will continue to fall but I do wonder how low. I wish we had someone chime in with knowledge on the 1913 National set for comparison sake.

There just weren't cards in 1906, this may be my next project...I have kicked round the idea for 6 or 7 years now.

Needed a Chick Fraser for my 1908 Cubs set. Fan Craze was the answer.
