Default Any Idea why this sold so high? Bobby Lowe Pin

Isn't this just a Cameo Pepsin pin in bad condition? Those are desirable, but over 2600 for this seems really high...

According to the description: "Bobby Lowe played for 127 seasons spanning parts of the 19th and 20th centuries."

Now THAT is some longevity! How is he NOT the greatest baseball player ever! And number one on every statistic! And he's NOT in the HOF, wtf!?!?!

I don't know. Looks pretty Lowe to me.

Don't worry. It's only Monday, my jokes improve as the week goes on.

Default pin

Chris,
Probably why is I believe LOWE of Boston is un-cataloged. So probably if you are trying to put a set together ( no one kniows how many are still to be found) its a thrill to find one still. I owned over 70 different at one time as you know. I know there is a LOWE of Chicago so Boston would be new. As to price well 2-3 guys in a battle to own it probably! As most commons range from 300-700 dollars. Just my thoughts! Al

Default Highs and Lowes

Bobby Lowe was the first player to hit four home runs in a single game.

In fact, all four were inside the park home runs. Perhaps that is why somebody
was on pins and needles when they bid on this item'
