Default Buyer Beware

I asked the seller if I could see a picture of the back and he said he could not, I then asked him where he bought it and he plied "eBay". I asked him if he would guarantee the authenticity and then he stopped answering my questions. He did mention that he did not like my "questions"

I am guessing that it is not real and would not touch it with a 10 foot pole.

Let me get this straight, the seller wants $15K for the photo but he states he is not sure if it is authentic and he didn't like your questions? Wow. In light of the price I think your questions about authenticity were valid . If the photo was real you would think it would warrant at least taking it out of the frame to take better photos. IMO when buying a high end panoramic photo of that quality , it would be best to buy through a major auction house, considering all the repros out there.

Not to mention, when I asked him about the back etc... he replied "Purchased it on eBay and had it professionally framed." Why would he not take a picture of it then prior to getting it framed???

Thanks, I was getting ready to buy it, but you've convinced me to stay away. Anyone that doesn't like your questions should certainly be avoided.

Default 1932 Panoramic Photo Back Pic

This seller has another Negro League panoramic framed photo listed with a detailed back photo. The frame on this one seems to be other than "period" also. Personally, I would stay away from anything this seller offers up.
