Default Lefty Gomez Game Used Yankee Jersey?

Picked this jersey up from grey flannels auction. I was offered it last year from a guy who I bought a 1939 Henrich game worn jersey. I guess the guy bought this jersey one from of Gomez relatives.

I guess the yankees made it for Gomez kid when they were an infant. So after receiving it, its pretty clear the the nameplate was probably cut from one of his old jerseys and then stitched into this one. And looking inside the jersey you can make out it used to have the number 22 on the back. So the Yankees probably cut up one of their other player jerseys to make this one. Gomez did wear 22 but in 1930. Looking at this tagging, it probably dates mid to later 30's.

Does anyone know how many kids he had? One site said two girls and two boys, but another I found only showed 2 kids total.
