Hello All.
I am new to this forum and I really am glad I found it. I have been looking for a place like this to talk about vintage cards. I have been collecting baseball cards since I was a kid back in the 70's but I have always had a passion for the older cards. I remember looking at magazines back then and dreaming about someday owning a 33 Goudey Babe Ruth. I have accomplished that "dream" with a #53 Ruth. Because my pockets are not deep, this card and most of my other cards are in the "collectors grade" of around good to vg. I still love them all.
I just wanted to post something and say Hi.

Jim.

Welcome aboard. Any plans to go after 144, 149, or 181?

Jim, it's common knowledge that collectors of high grade cards were potty trained too early.

Jim, nice to have a new addition to the collection of collectors. Collect what you can and enjoy the cardboard.

Lol...that's pretty good.
Yes, I would love to someday get all 4 Ruths for my display case. I am currently trying to collect a card of some of the all-time greats...Ruth, Gehrig, Cobb, Matty, etc.
My collection is very modest at this point but I thoroughly enjoy it.

Jim
