Default NFL Playoff Pool Update

Ladies (?) and Gentlemen (?),

We now have 90 entrants in this year's pool. I am also willing to predict that at least one entrant will get 4 points this weekend, as all 16 permutations of the 4 picks are represented. I can also predict with certainty that 75 entrants will not get 4 points this weekend.

There is still time to enter for those lurkers who have not entered. Remember the deadline for entry in Post #1 is 4PM EST, which means 3PM CST, 2PM MST
and 1PM PST today, a little more than three (3) hours from now. If you choose to enter after the stated time, but before the actual kickoff, you will have to contact me via PM with either a valid excuse or a bribe to allow your entry. The only exception is the ability to enter the pool after today's cutoff by entering picks beginning with next weekend's games. If you choose this approach (not recommended), you will enter weekend Number 2 with 0 points, which virtually eliminates any chance of winning the contest.

I'll go out on a limb and predict that 8 entrants will have 4 points Monday morning. If you agreed with my picks, you know who you are.

Let's Get Ready to FUMBLE

The Chiefs blew that game, must have been the Lions in Chiefs uniforms.

Crazy game. As great of a comeback that was, it kind of hurt to watch two teams without defenses play

For a while I thought I was watching a college bowl game...

As this is typical. When I lose in a pool, I don't just lose. I do it in grand design. It took the greatest comeback in NFL playoff history to knock me out in the first game of week one.

If it's any consolation, the Bills were down by 32 against the Oilers in the '90s so this is only the 2nd greatest comeback in NFL playoff history.

I love a good comeback, but after that slop fest, I'd be hesitant to call either team a pro team

2-0 by a total of three points. Genius, hell. No bounce to Luck, a more aggressive Eagle offense... And I would be 0-2.

But, as the man said...Scoreboard! Seeya, gotta go wash the dishes...

Now only 1 player can go 4-0. Unbelievable how hard it is just to pick winners even w/o the point spred. No wonder Vegas is such a huge town.

Geez. Kinda hard for the Bengals to win when Dalton is playing for the Chargers! Congrats to The Bolts!

0-3, and I have a bad feeling about the 49'rs.

Home teams dropped three of four, and the only home win was Indy's miraculous comeback. That's tough to predict.

Default Net54 Sucks

Net54 was correct on 47.3 % of their selections. After just four games we have a solitary leader of the pack, VOLnVEGAS, the sole entrant with 4 points.

Next week's match ups

Forty-Niners at the Panthers
Saints at the Seahawks
Chargers at the Broncos
Colts at the Patriots

Once again the deadline for second round picks is 4PM EST on Saturday before the first game.

1-3 here. Can I still win a sleeve from a T-shirt and the base of a trophy?
