Default Babe Ruth Remington Advertisement

For those that care...he appears in the May 1938 issue of Sports Afield on the inside front cover in a full color ad. I've had this for awhile and never even thumbed through it until tonight.

Dan, very cool. The Babe was an avid hunter and fisherman. There's another Remington ad that has Joe Jackson in it from his playing days. I think it's from Baseball Magazine. The cover shows him with a bat and the back with a shotgun in place of the bat. It a fairly expensive issue that I've only seen a few of.

His pics are in our local bar up in Sussex Co, NJ. Rumor has it he used to frequent this area, hunt/fish and on occasion drive his car out on the frozen lake...There are some very cool pics of him out and about..
