I was watching that auction also(no intention of bidding) just to see what it capped at. Beautiful card though, no matter what the back is.

Collect what you like,

congrats john!

i was watching this card. i had a discussion with 2 fellow board members last week...we all agreed it would end at $2500...i guess we are good!

it ended right were it should've, and yes, that's a strong/healthy price.

That's a really tough front/back combination, in very nice condition. It had everything going for it.

Thanks guys, I don’t really know what’s strong anymore the hobby is all over the place when it comes to pricing. Cards I think will go for more go for much less and vice versa. I just bid what I feel comfortable and I hope I win…

As for this card it killed two birds with one stone I needed to upgrade my current one and I didn’t have a Red Hindu it will make a nice addition to my set.

I hope all your guys collecting has been going well and goes great in 2008, take care John

Barry…I guess this means I’m one dollar richer…I love capitalism!

Here’s a picture of the Dukes discussing everything from the N172 Delehanty to pork bellies…which one would find in a Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato sandwich……

John- you put the Delahanty right on the table with Eddie Murphy- simply amazing.

I remember how quickly Murphy assimilated to the job. One day he's wheeling himself through the street as a beggar; the next day he's giving the brothers his opinion on whether or not orange juice futures were going up or down. Seemed like he learned a little too quickly.

Congrats, on the Kleinow.....I checked my Red Hindu (confirmed) list; but, your Kleinow was already on it.
So, there is at least two of them accounted for.

Say, how about the scene from the movie where Jamie Lee Curtis is comforting a befuddled Dan Akroyd ?

Ted I have that screen cap for ya...you old dog!

I'll upload a PG version nipples covered by Colgan Chips (keeping as on topic as I can here) ...unless Leon insists the unrated version...LOL.

John- now that I look at your scan again there appears to be a technical problem. Right beneath Jamie Lee Curtis's chin, running horizontally, there are two blotches that are obstructing her image. You need to remove them so we can see the picture more clearly. You must have accidentally created some kind of an overlay while you were working in photoshop. Just a small glitch, easily correctable.

Ted;

I'll see you there...I've also finally put together my list of T206's backs fronts factory's etc. to pass off to you, so you can add to the super set data. It's around 1200 or so T206's hope it helps.

John
