Default I have a Question about a Larry Doyle T206 back

Hi everyone. I was looking through my T206 & T207 cards and came across a T206 Sweet Caporal Larry Doyle N. Y. Nat'l, Portrait that is graded by PSA as VG 3. The back of the card is a 350-460 Subjects with a scroll overprint that does not cover the prior Factory No 30, 24 Dist. NY and it also has a Factory 42 4th Dist. N.C. as well on the bottom. I didn't see this as one of the front/back combination that was listed. Is this a new combination or did I miss something? Thank you and have a great new year.

Drew

Hi Drew -

This is a common Sweet Caporal 350-460 No.42 Overprint. The cards were originally printed with Factory 30 backs but then an overprint was added prior to the cards going to Factory 42. In some cases when the overprints were applied they weren't lined up exactly like your example.

Thanks Tim. For the most part I collect only Cardinals and Hal of famers so that back struck me as odd. Greatly appreciated and have a great day.
