Default 1952 Topps Mantle Fraud on Ebay

Don't be tempted by this guy - he doesn't have this card:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1952-Topps-M...cAAOSwSlBYuK-R

I knew something was up with this one immediately, but wanted to do a little exploring. He told me got it years ago, yet it sold at auction last August (https://goldinauctions.com/1952_Topp...-LOT23546.aspx). Also tried to get me to Friends and Family some $$ to him so that he could overnight it --- being "nice" enough to let me pay the rest after I got the card. The seller has taken it down and relisted several times, trying to run this on as many people as possible - I really hope that nobody sent him any money. The username is not lost on me either.

He actually encourages offers so that he can end the auction early. That just screams "integrity."

He now has a 1933 Ruth SGC 7 listed. It was sold by Goldin on 4/6/13. With a user name like that he should at least use the correct grammar, You're not Your.

I was gonna see if he would take Yogurt Land gift cards as payment, but alas, it's been taken down.

I am sad to say that I live in the same city as the seller. Never seen this seller id before. With that seller id it doesn't seem like it's good for business.

He may have "sold" it to someone off of eBay. That seems to be what he was trying to do all along.

Good info but if anyone bought from a seller with that kind of id, and that high priced of a card, without doing research they almost deserve what they get. Looks like another scammer who should be in jail. I wonder if they know Ms. Battlefield?

One the card looks fake. Two the MK qualifier looks like it should be altered as the MK looks erased. Is that not considered a alteration?

The colors look off for sure, but that is the exact same scan as the card that sold at Goldin, so I assume the scan is of a real card. PSA gives a MK designation for a mark or an erased mark (if they can detect it).
