Can anyone tell me why this card was tagged as altered? I can't decide.

Thanks

I can't really tell from the pictures. If PSA caught it the alteration has to be so obvious in hand that Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles could see it from across the room.

Possible trim on top edge? As said, could also be recoloring.

Another option is that it was in a "brick" style lucite screwdown holder and was therefore pressed, which could hide creasing. If so, PSA will return it ungraded as "altered stock" unless the owner allows it to go in an Authentic holder.

Top edge looks like its been trimmed. Possible red color added to bottom right corner?

Isn't this the same card that's been on here before? Top edge is trimmed. Was easier to see before it was slabbed.

That's the one, and I don't think it's the same card, but, comparing side by side I noticed the left border on the one above is curved. The previous one was fuzzy cut.

I purchased the card already graded. I'm unaware of it being on this site before but can't say for sure. It's not been posted before by me.

The card is gorgeous just the way it is. probably a 6K card after you crack it out and resubmit for a number grade, which will be easy easy easy easy. Sit back and watch it POP. Probably could add 4 or 5 K to the billion dollar fraud.
