Contest...maybe a dumb idea?

To add a little bit of fun back to the board...I have an idea and would be curious to know how others feel. A contest, trivia questions....or guessing grades submitted on cards or something like that....everyone that wants to contribute would chip in $5 paypal and then your eligible to play along, the winner gets the pot and can buy a nice card...pay for submissions...or whatever...This may not fly worth a crap on here, I haven't seen it done before. But would be curious if anyone would be interested...if not just tell me to shut up, I'm fine with that too.
