Default What are these?

The seller keeps selling the same one over and over......unless it was a booklet with all the same #.

what I don't get, and I know Legendary Auctions is guilty of it too, is how can you call this a World Series ticket, when it makes no mention of World Series or World Championship game, and also clearly states on it "good for any game this season".

Gullible buyers.

Legendary has done this, with tickets similar to the first two?

In my opinion, the first two can't be sold for anything other than tickets torn out of a ticket book. If there is some characteristic that links them to a particular year, then that can be described by the seller. I have a few tickets that were torn from a similar ticket book, and also simply have sequential numbers to differentiate them. It never crossed my mind that they could have been 're-purposed'. Has anyone else ever heard of such a thing?

Sounds like the same kind of thinking that has 1973 American League season passes being slabbed as "Nolan Ryan's 1st No-Hitter Pass." Just because it could have been used for that, doesn't mean that every 1973 AL season pass went through the gates at Royals Stadium on May 15. Maybe there is something on these early "World Series Tickets" that I'm overlooking that ties them directly to those games, but I agree that it seems like a stretch to fill a void of bonafide originals.

Looks like the exact same ticket in every auction.

Problem is the description is all garbled and he has a dozen photos or so of items that aren't actually included in the lot.

I'm guessing the winning bidders probably thought they were getting something other the what they were actually getting, and pulled out.

No, I don't think so anyway, as feedback was left on 2 of the sales so far. Would like to talk to the buyers and see if they really believe the description, but Ebay prevent identities now.

It'll be interesting to see how many get sold. He's the most "creative" seller, I'll give him that.

one of the funny things is he keeps saying 1 of 3 ever offered. Well if that was the case with the 1st sale he mentions that, should the second sale say one of 4 ever offered, and now this 3rd sale, one of 5 ever offered.

Unless of course it is the same one he keep selling, but then its puzzling how feedback was left.

That seller is always pushing the envelope. I like his city pennants he ties to Federal League teams.

He keeps me amused that's for sure.

When the second one went up for sale I wrote the seller and asked for some clarification and if this was the exact one that just sold.

They didnt get back to me.

So now this 3rd one sold tonight for $104.31 (well done buyer)

So if you bought the 1st one you paid $406.96 (sucker)

If you won the 2nd one you paid $324.06 (sucker)

However as he reads this message board and has changed the image now and description a bit to address the previous posters complaints, should be interesting to see what the 4th one goes for:
