Do they give any advice about how to stand in the batter's box? Do they suggest you stand with your chest facing the pitcher? Do they use any examples, like Cap Anson?

Here are some more pics, the cover is loose and it's missing the back cover. However, the inside is in very nice condition.

I don't believe the book is that hard to come by as it was published by the Spalding library over many years. With the cover problems it brings the price down significantly. I would guess it's in the $50 range.

yes, in that condition 50.00-75.00, but it's much harder to find then a Spalding Guide or the Blue/Red cover guides. I search a lot of paper stuff and never find them, maybe the book is more common in the New York and PA areas. I understand in our hobby were cards and autographs are more popular there would not be as much interest. Book collectors and dealers love this kind of stuff!

I think that book is part of the Spalding Blue series. I think I have it and will check over the next few days.

The picture shown as the cover I do not believe is the actual cover. Looks home made.

The cover has the picture of Murnane on the reverse and has the same style of print as the rest of the book.
